In the rural area of China, there are still millions of Children dropping out school due to poverty. To help needy children to go to schools, the teenager members (below 18 years old) of the Overseas China Foundations (OCEF) Youth Club will host a yard sale to raise fund to help those unfortunate children. This is an event for children to help children and for people to care about people.

When? Nov. 16, 2002, Saturday, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM.

Where? At the parking lot of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. 5531 Beechnut, Houston, TX 77096. The location is at Beechnut between Hillcroft St. and Renwick Dr.

How? You have the following options in participating in this meaningful activity:
(1) You can just simply go there to purchase useful items you want to show your support to the activity
(2) you also can make donation there,
(3) You can sell your items to rais money and donate to OCEF,
(4) You can donate unwanted items to OCEF.

Note: for (3) and (4), if you want to donate items to OCEF for yard sell or set a table there to sell items, please contact OCEF in advance at the number below and get approved, so that OCEF can make arrangement.

All proceeds will be used to support the basic education of needy children in rural areas of China.

Let us take a little action to encourage our next generation to do something to help needy people and love their motherland. please come and show your support! Encourage your kids to join!
