The Overseas China Education Foundation (OCEF) will celebrate its 10th anniversary. OCEF cordially invite all friends to attend this celebration event.

When? December 8, 2002, Sunday, from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM

Where? At the Houston Huaxia Chinese School, 5925 Sovereign Dr, Houston, TX 77036 (713-541-3339)

How? This Celebration contains programs such as Art Performance, Guest Speeches, OCEF exhibitions, Reception, and Award to Donors.

Why? We would like by this celebration to express our appreciation to all donors, OCEF members, and friends who have provided support to OCEF's course and helped needy children in rural areas of China for their basic education. We also would like involve more people into the course of helping China's education and needy children. All proceeds raised from this event will be used to helping needy children to go to schools.

About OCEF: OCEF (formerly SOS China Education Fund) is a non-profit, tax-exempt Charity organization. Its sole mission is to help China's education, particularly less-privileged children in rural areas of China to finish nine years of basic education. Registered in California in 1992 and now headquartered in Houston, Texas, OCEF has so far helped more than 3,000 children in poverty areas of China realizing their simple dream of going to school. All OCEF members (now over 250) are volunteers. In spite of great progress in China's education development, due to unbalanced regional development, family poverty, and historical reasons, millions of school-age children in China's rural areas are still can not afford going to school. Some of these children are highly talented, but their potential and aspirations are being thwarted by devastating poverty. Together, we can help them to get their deserved education like the other children. Welcome more friends join OCEF's effort.
