To celebrate the 54th national day of China, a multi-art evening show will be held at 6:30pm on September 20, 2003 at the Cullen Performance Hall, University of Houston, featuring the Splendid China Art Troup from Florida.
The great cultural event is set to bring a rich and highly diverse art program to people in Great Houston Area. In a nearly two hours program, a group of nationally-recognized actresses and actors from Splendid China Art Troup of Florida will perform various forms of traditional Chinese arts such as magic, acrobatic, martial arts, dance, Chinese traditional musical instruments (Er-Hu and Di-Zhi, etc.). In addition, local singers from Houston will also contribute to the program.
Headquartered in Shenzhen City, the earliest opened city in China with rapid economic growth, Splendid China has won its reputation as an organization of grand cultural shows, with an assemblage of some best artists over all different nationalities from China, and specialized in all possible art arenas. The Splendid China of Florida is a subsidiary of its parent organization in Shenzhen, China.
