The Minutes of Board Meeting
Fudan-SMU Alumni Association in Great Houston

Location: Chinese Cafe
TIme: 6:30 pm, Friday, June 3, 2005
Attendant: Steve Xulun Yang, Zheng Biao, Han Shuhua, Xu Zhong and husband, Kang
Wei, Jiashu Liu (Liqian Chen and Weihong Huang came on way, but they
had urgent request and missed meeting)

We have a good Chinese foos at first than discussed and
Meeting solution are as follows;

1) Activities:
We missed to organize an activities in Spring.

Activities in Summer: We will held a Beach Party with celebration of Fudan
Univsersity Centernary Ceremony in Gaveston State Park
Coordinators: Lynn Soong, Kang Wei and Jiashu Liu
Time: About late July or August early

Activities in Fall: We will held a picnic in Kette Hollow Park in Sugarland.
Coordinators: Xu Zhong and Xulun Yang

Activities in Winter: with other Society together
Coordinator: Xulun Yang and Liqian Chen

2)Fudan University Centenary Ceremony:
a)Delegate: we will have three members to attend Major Gala between September 23-25 in Shanghai,
they are Jiashu Liu, John Ma and Zumo Wang.
b)present souvenir to Fudan: we need input from all fudan-SMU members. One suggestion
is Yao Ming (Houston "Rocket") to sign a signature on his post if any
member can connect Yao Ming and let us to know.
Welcome all other suggetion.
c)Memorial Stamps of Fudan Centenary: Members have requested 11 sets of Stamps and Ceremony Envelop at first day
